Julian Armanis and Oleg Vronski (Team Play, 2001)
Julian Armanis and Oleg Vronski have always been very special to me. I loved Julian from the first scene I saw with him: the one he shares with another one of my favorite Bel Ami beauties, Sebastian Bonnet. Elegant in the art of seduction and love play and overall passionate in regard to sex, Julian is always lovely to watch as a top (he’s also quite sweet as a bottom). Oleg was a Bel Ami star from the studio’s earlier days and his beauty I discovered as I was exploring Bel Ami’s earlier canon of films. Both Julian and Oleg have gained coveted places in my Temple of Bel Ami Beauty, and they both are members of an elite group of young men that I’ve nicknamed, ‘Bel Ami’s Old Guard’. Aside from any lofty platitudes I can bestow upon them, more important that anything, both of these gorgeous beyond belief young men have forever captured my heart wherein they remain enshrined. I rediscovered Oleg recently while putting an edit together of one of his earlier scenes that I posted a few weeks ago from Summer Camp. I haven’t seen much from Team Play, a film Bel Ami released during what I’ve called their ‘bridge period’, an in-between span between the end of the 1990’s and beginning of the 2000’s, where some of the older generation of Bel Ami stars were making their exits and the new generation of Bel Ami stars were getting ready to take the stage. With this scene, though in ‘abridged’ form, it was wonderful to watch one of that period of time’s most passionate tops with one of Bel Ami’s sweetest and most sensual bottoms. The scene Julian and Oleg share together which forms the opening for the film, Team Play is a magical mix of passionate fun and sensual eroticism, and certainly a Bel Ami classic.
Blue Foundation’s song Eyes on Fire formed the musical backdrop for their scene and I thought it would be the perfect match for it. We see Julian resting on a bench by the pool, watching as Oleg climbs out and in turn Oleg motions for Julian to follow him into the showers (Note: that sequence was in the uncut version of the scene; I didn’t include it as part of my edit due to time-I mention it only for easy of ‘story-telling’). Julian is more than happy to oblige his friend and he leaves the pool area to join him. With fiery longing, they ‘size’ one another up as they shower together, the camera focusing on their dicks (camera of course serving as respective points of view). Oleg then invites Julian to wash his back and the opportunity to feel Oleg’s flesh and let his soap-covered hands glide and caress his ass cheeks, dick and balls, was certainly one Julian couldn’t pass up . Oh, yeah, that’s how it starts, isn’t it? With kisses and gentle touching in the right places, passions are ignited and lustful seduction ensues. Swimming isn’t much of a contact sport, is it? Well, thank goodness I think we all know one that is and one that is way more fun.
