If you are a regular visitor here you more than likely know, as I’ve written here many times before: I truly live to find shots like the ones you’ll see in this gallery. My journey through Bel Ami’s Garden of Eros naturally began with the films and noticing shots like these that would make me take a pause to whispera hushed: “How incredibly sweet?” It pretty much began with this: the closing shot of the 4-way between Lukas Ridgeston, Sebastian Bonnet, Julian Armanis and Erik Kovac taken from Frisky Summer 2: Sebastian.
And I continued in my dreamy, love-struck state ever since…….:)
When I joined BelAmiOnline.com last year, I not only started to collect their webisodes, with videography just as stunning as in Bel Ami’s films, I started to collect the images. I’ve given you quite a taste so far of what I’ve found so beautiful about Bel Ami’s photography. Without bias I can honestly say it’s some of the best in the world. As I found, it became more than the image itself, but the stirring emotion portrayed within their context, owed entirely by the artistry of the boys as well as the photographers, both at Bel Ami as well as two very special ones whose work is also featured in this gallery: Howard Roffman and Benno Thoma.
It would be this gorgeously sensual and blissfully sweet image that would send me on a quest to find those images that had the most beautiful and emotional impact: the cute and the funny, the sensually erotic and the stirringly romantic, and the all-together beautiful. What I’m presenting here today represents only a small tip of an amazing, gargantuan iceberg of erotic art. When you see a moment that was captured in still frame that completely takes your breath away because of its sweet beauty, you know you’ve come upon something truly remarkable and lovely. Such is the nature of Bel Ami, heart and soul.
